A newly renovated old stone barn, available to rent all year round. Only 30 minutes south of Bergerac, with its low cost flights to many UK airports, this house is located in a very beautiful area of the southern Perigord.

The whole cottage is on one level.

It has a large, comfortably furnished, light and airy sitting room with a wood burning stove, exposed stone walls and beams, and double doors leading to a rear patio.

The large open plan fully fitted kitchen/diner is fully equiped with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, etc. and has a table easily seating 6 people.

There are two good sized bedrooms, both with beautiful views. One has a 5' wide double bed and the other has twin beds. Each bedroom has bedside tables, chests of drawers and hanging rails.

There is a modern bathroom which has a bath with shower above, washbasin and WC.

There is electric heating throughout to compliment the wood stove. Which, with the high level of insulation, makes the property suitable for rental at any time of the year.

The tiled patio at the rear has delightful views over the surrounding countryside and is provided with table and chairs and sun parasol. A lovely place to relax with a glass of wine. A barbeque is also provided.

The house is located on the road between Miramont-de-Guyenne and Tombeboeuf. Miramont is a lovely small bastide town with a Monday market, supermarkets, bakers, cafes, etc. Tombeboeuf has a good nine hole golf course.

The house is set back some 70 feet from the road in an acre of land, mainly grass with lovely mature trees and a large stand of bamboo.

Bed linen and towels are provided. Rental is Tuesday to Tuesday to allow you to take full advantage of the lower mid-week fares.

Satelite TV, (free to air), DVD player and CD player are provided - please bring your own DVD's and CDs.

Well behaved pets are welcome but the garden is unfenced.

The owners live just 10 kilometers away and so can be contacted if needed to be of help.
